Is Your Morning Coffee Toxic?
NEW: Coffee That's Actually Good For You
I've spent the last 45+ years talking about the health benefits of drinking coffee to anyone who would listen to me.
Research from over 200 studies shows drinking 3 to 4 cups of coffee per day is linked to a lower risk of early death compared to non-coffee drinkers.
Coffee can boost your energy, support brain health, improve metabolism, lower the risk of depression, protect your liver, make your heart healthier, and make your muscles stronger.
But there was one problem.
 Â
In all those years…
We never found a coffee bean that we could wholeheartedly recommend…
Until today!
From Shade-Grown to Sun-Dried:
The 6 Steps To Coffee Perfection
STEP 1. ORGANIC
Next to tobacco, coffee is sprayed with more chemicals than any other product humans consume.
If you’re not drinking organic coffee, you’re drinking coffee that has been chemically sprayed and treated throughout the growing process.
You want to drink a healthy cup of coffee…not a dirty cup of coffee laced with chemicals.
So, a good cup of healthy coffee starts with an organic bean.
STEP 2.  SHADE-GROWN
There’s no debate that shade-grown coffee smells and tastes better. Â
Coffee beans mature much slower in the shade.
This gives the natural sugars and oils more time to enhance the aromas and flavor in the coffee.
Now, you would think that all coffee beans would be shade-grown.
Yet, less than 2% of the coffee worldwide is grown in the shade. What a shame.
STEP 3.  HIGH-ALTITUDE
GOOD FOR ME coffee beans are grown on a farm in the mountains of Costa Rica at an altitude of 1200 meters (3937 feet).
High-altitude coffee is harder to grow but offers exceptional flavor and tastes better.
The world’s finest coffees are found at least 1100 meters.Â
The cooler mountain temperatures provide a slower growth cycle for the coffee tree.
This prolongs the bean development and gives more time for the natural sugars and oils to enhance the aromas and flavor in the coffee.
STEP 4. HAND-PICKED
Our coffee beans at Good For Me Coffee are hand-picked, a meticulous process that sets the stage for unparalleled quality.Â
Each bean is selected with precision, ensuring that only the ripest, most flavorful ones make it into your cup.Â
This careful selection is crucial for our specialty coffee, where every nuance of flavor is celebrated.Â
With every sip, you're not just enjoying a premium brew but the fruits of a process that prioritizes quality above all else.
STEP 5. SUN-DRIED
Good For Me Coffee takes pride in our sun-dried beans, a process that's key to unlocking the deepest, most enchanting flavors in your coffee.Â
By embracing this natural drying method, we ensure each bean slowly and gently reaches its peak, enhancing its flavor profile to deliver a sweeter, more complex taste.Â
This careful sun-drying process not only preserves the beans' natural sugars and acids, contributing to a richer and fuller flavor but also meticulously guards against the risk of fermentation or mold.Â
The result? A cleaner, purer, and more vibrant cup of coffee that reflects the true essence of our high-quality beans.Â
STEP 6. SUSTAINABLE
Our beans thrive in a lush environment, nurtured by the natural ingenuity of banana trees.Â
These towering guardians serve as a living canopy, shielding our coffee plants from harsh winds, heavy rains, and extreme temperatures.Â
But their role extends beyond mere protection.
The banana trees store water within their honeycomb-like structure.Â
As the cycle of life turns, fallen bananas and their plants decompose, gradually releasing this water back into the soil, enriching it with vital nutrients like potassium.Â
This not only prevents soil depletion but also creates a self-sustaining irrigation system, eliminating the need for artificial sprinklers.
Beyond their ecological benefits, these banana trees contribute to the local ecosystem by providing food for both people and wildlife, embodying the essence of sustainability.
Proudly certified by the Rainforest Alliance and ICAFE, the Costa Rica National Institute for Coffee, Good For Me Coffee is a testament to sustainable farming.Â

Costa Rica, producing less than 1% of the world's coffee, offers a unique coffee bean largely due to its high altitudes, fertile soil, and perfect coffee-growing climate.
This rarity and quality make Good For Me Coffee not just special but a premium choice for coffee lovers.
Arabica beans, the only type grown in Costa Rica by law, are known for their smooth, slightly sweet taste with hints of fruits and berries.
