TRANSCRIPT OF TODAY'S EPISODE

Announcer:  You're listening to The Doctor Is In Podcast, brought to you by MartinClinic.com. During the episode, the doctors share a lot of information. As awesome as the info may be, it is not intended to diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent any disease. It's strictly for informational purposes.

Dr. Martin:  Well, good morning everyone. Once again, welcome to another live this morning. Hope you're having a great start to your day, and we certainly are. Okay, let's get going. Let's get going. Now, guys, I don't know if you saw any, you might've seen a clip of this or I've watched quite a bit of the FDA. They had a, I don't know if I want to say council or board meeting all the members of the FDA. And what they do is they have a vote when there's certain things, drug approval or whatever. So on this one, first of all, they had an open discussion. People that wanted to speak to the FDA board members, they came on. It was very interesting. And the topic was the Hepatitis B shot for children, given that one day of age, okay, so newborns, they're given a vaccine within 24 hours of their life and now this is being challenged.

Why are they doing that? So I watched this with great interest because, well, it was public and you could watch it. And it was interesting listening to the presentations and they were very interesting. There was a fellow there, it's easy to remember his name because he was a lawyer. And Siri, Hey Siri, I better not do that because it'll come up. But he was very interesting on why they should cancel unless the mother was a drug addict or had a sexually transmitted disease. Why in the heck would you give a baby that vaccine, especially within the first hours of life? It was crazy. Anyway, just try and change things. Anyway, they changed it. They had people presenting both sides and they had a vote. And guess what? Now they're not recommending that vaccine in the first 24 hours of life. In a way, I was shocked because, and I think the vote, I could be wrong on this just because I'd have to think about it again for a minute, but I think the vote was nine to three to change it.

And the three people, doctors, PhDs, and doctors who voted to keep it. Guys, the evidence was so overwhelming. If you listen to those presentations, you're going, what? You scratch your head to think, why in the world would they give this vaccine to babies other than it was craziness. And finally, the FDA, got it, right? But I listened to the three, I think there was three naysayers, three that didn't want any changes at all, and the doom and gloom, oh, I am going to just tell you down the road, I mean thousands of these kids are going to die because they didn't get the hepatitis vaccine. They are so ingrained in their thinking, it doesn't matter what evidence. And there was a lot of evidence presented by the way to the committee. It doesn't matter what kind of evidence, they would not move. They don't want any changes at all, at all. Now guys, that's not science.

Science is observation. Science by definition isn't settled, right? I tell you guys all the time, you see something, you read something. I probably have read it, but maybe not send it to me. I'm interested. I don't want to have a closed mind. I want to have an open mind. What I know today compared to what I knew when I graduated, I thought I was smart when I graduated. And you know what? Being a doctor should humble you, not make you proud. Humility, Hey, I don't know everything, and your body is fearfully and wonderfully made. It's unbelievable. And we're just scratching the surface on what we know and my expertise, clinical nutrition, chronic fatigue and metabolic syndrome, and my expertise in horror hormones, measuring all that. But guys, I'm open. I ought to be an open book. I was telling someone yesterday, I probably read two or three hours a day, if not more than that.

I'm reading, I'm reading studies, I'm reading papers, I'm reading opinions. I'm reading that stuff because hey, what do I know? I don't know everything. I don't know everything, but I always wondered when I was a kid, okay, go back to the 1950s. I mean, vaccines have been around a long time and I don't want to talk too much about it. I just want to tell you that when I was a kid, what was there, one or two? Polio. I know that was it diptheria. And today, it's by the time they get to the age two or three, they've had 70 or something vaccines. I don't know. Why can't that be questioned? Why is it that that just sort of settled and that's the way it has to be? And so I really liked that the FDA. Finally, let's talk about this. Let's let people come from both sides, and this was just on one vaccine and parents, they didn't even know most of the time that their babies were being vaccinated for hepatitis.

I mean, it was just what I've told you this story before because I talked to an oncologist once. I've talked to many oncologists over the years, but this one, and he said, because I asked him about a certain cancer, and I said, well, what is your five year survival rate? Because that used to be the guideline five year survival rate. I said, on this particular cancer, what was the five year survival rate, whether you give the treatment or not. He said, well, it's the same. I said, okay, well, why would you give treatment if it's not going to make things any better on the five year survival rate? He said, because what we do here, and he was really taken aback that I would even question that. I said, well, well, that's not a good answer because that's what we do. Hey guys, I've been saying it for over 40 years, but I've been telling you this on this podcast for years and my radio show before that for years, you know what? It's not good enough for me. It doesn't satisfy me. When I read every study, for example, on the number one selling medication of all time, I just took it out to get the most recent statistics on this. 92 million Americans we're not talking Canadians. Canadians every bit as bad, but 92 million Americans take statin drugs, cholesterol lowering medication, okay? Global sales, 92 billion a year on statin drugs.

When they look at all the meta metaanalysis, looking at all the studies, combining all the studies on cholesterol and statin drugs, you know what the benefits are? Not much. The most optimistic benefit the most, okay? And this is when you read all the studies, you go, yeah, but they say, okay, we can extend your life with statin drugs, Crestor, Lipitor, Zocor, whatever. We can extend your life three to four days, a month, a year. Nope, lifetime. Okay? That's the most optimistic stop. They don't talk to you about side effects, but let me talk to you about side effects. These are well-documented, so let's give them three or four days. It's going to extend your life three or four days if you take a statin drug, okay? Three or four days. But let me tell you that at least 20, 30% of the people that take it have some very serious side effects of taking a statin drug. Now, you have to weigh that, right? You have to weigh that 50% of women that take a statin drug become a diabetic. I've always said this, okay? And I'm going to pick on statins for a minute because I always do. Guys, you know me. I have been the most consistent person in the world on the negativity I have ever statin drug. I've said it since the 1980s when they came out, and I've been consistent about it because in my opinion, I've said this, I've said it to you a million times.

I'm going to say it another million. If the Lord lets me keep this program, I'm going to say it again and again and again. Cholesterol is not a bad guy. It's not the boogeyman. I push back because I saw it in nutrition guys. I was in school in the seventies in my undergraduate work taking 2000 hours of nutrition, and they tried to pump it to me too in school. Cholesterol, not good cholesterol, the bad guy, don't eat butter, eat margarine, don't eat bacon, eat bad limit eggs. I heard it guys in school because in school, in the nutrition, they were pumping it. Cholesterol is the root of heart disease. I never believed that. And I'll tell you why. Because even in high school, I learned about cholesterol, you need it. Your body makes it. I never heard of bad cholesterol. I just heard of good cholesterol, but they found a culprit.

They maligned LDL, which you need, okay? Low density lipoprotein. They said, oh, no, no, no. That's the bad cholesterol. And we found a drug to lower it. So it went along with the narrative. So the food industry lied. Then the pharmaceutical industry got involved. Now you have the two biggest powers in the world. They got politicians in their back pocket. We saw it on this committee of the FDI. There was three guys. The evidence was overwhelming. Why are we giving this vaccine in the first 24 hours of life and don't make any sense at all? And yet, there was three of them. I called them the three stooges. And guys, they just couldn't change their mind because it didn't matter. They weren't listening.

No, we don't change anything here. Anyway, so the combination of big food, big pharma, politicians in their back pocket, guess what? Cholesterol is the bad guy. Every cardiologist had been trained the same way, okay? It's part of their protocol. And if you went to medical school, whether you're a cardiologist or not, you're taught statins are essential. Folks, I'm not kidding you, it got so bad not long ago that in Britain, the United Kingdom, they actually had a vote that was coming up in parliament to put statin drugs in water, put it in our water supply cholesterol so bad. And guys, you know me, I had migraine after migraine trying to tell people I've never heard of anything so silly in all of my life. Why do you want to get your cholesterol down? That was me. And you guys know that You're not going to change my mind on that, but you can send me any article you want. I'll read it. Because the way I look at it, not only is cholesterol essential for your body, you know how I've said this for years and years and years. I've said this, okay? Here's Dr. Martin's statement. God doesn't trust you to even eat enough cholesterol because the world's gone saturated stupid, because fat is bad. Fat makes you sick.

Now, bad fats, I agree, they're not good for you. Eggs, meat and cheese. Buddy eats that. And why do you want to get your cholesterol down? Who told you it was bad to change that mindset? It's hard because it's been so indoctrinated and the medication, and I've been screaming about this for years too. Let me ask you this. Where do you have the most battery packs in your body? Okay, I'm waiting. Give me the answer you guys. Where do you have the most battery packs? Mitochondria in your body? Question. Close your books. Where do you have the most mitochondria in all of your body? Okay, let me see. Okay, let's see here. Okay, Derek, the heart. Yeah, it's one of them. Kathy's stomach. Good answer, Wendy saying, mitochondria. But yeah, where do you have the most mitochondria is the question. Okay, where do you have the most mitochondria in your body? Janice says, the gut. Well, you're close. Okay, the liver close. Rita, you got it right. The brain and the heart. Okay, Kevin, the gut. You guys are always on the gut. I love that Raheem said the heart. You're right. Brain and heart. Brain and heart. Brain and heart. Okay, you got a lot of battery packs up there. Okay, mitochondria. And Cheryl says the heart and Sharon says the brain. And you guys love that gut, don't you? Because I taught you properly.

Heart and brain. Heart and brain. Heart and brain. Guys, listen, here's where you have the most mitochondria up here. Think about it. Why? 25% of your energy, your food, 25% goes up here, your heart, thousands and thousands and thousands of mitochondria there, okay? Your battery packs, you need that in your heart. Here's another area. Muscle. You need batteries. A lot of battery packs in your muscles, guys. So those three areas are the areas that statin, drunks, cholesterol, lowering medication damage, they damage that pathway to your mitochondria. This is well established, guys. That's why so many people have side effects. Memory, brain, fog, muscle, say that fast three times. Muscle pain. Muscle damage. I had patients come into my office, guys, doc, I got this terrible arm pain, terrible shoulder pain. I said, lift your arms. They could hardly lift their arms. I already knew the answer. Are you on any? Yeah. Are you on statin drugs?

Yeah. I said, that's the problem you've got rmbo, thisis. Your muscles are wasting away because the mitochondria are being damaged in your muscle. That's why guys, if you listen to commercials on tv, on statin drugs, you'll see often a commercial right after it about ubiquinol or coq 10, because that coq 10 is part of the mitochondria. It's part of that ETP, your cells, your mitochondria produce your energy A TP, it damages that pathway. I used to tell people on my radio show, I said, let me ask you a question. Your heart, yeah, what is it? Well, it's a pump. Yeah. What is it made up of? Mostly muscle. Yeah, muscle. And imagine a medication that damages muscle. I thought your heart was a muscle.

So guys, don't hold your breath that this will ever be voted on at the FDA level. Okay? They did it with this vaccine. I give them a high five, and the fact that they were even discussing it impress me could not easy. It's not easy. Health Canada or whatever, try and change anything like good luck. It is not easy. They're so entrenched. You go to any medical school, and here we are in 2025, almost getting to 2026, any medical school and cholesterol that, and they're really good at it because what they do is they go into, I was saying to someone the other day, that's weeds. They go, what did you just say, Dr. Martin? I said, well, that's weeds. What do you mean by that? Well, you're getting into the weeds. I'm a common sense guy. I don't like weeds. What do you mean? Well, now they've made up, well, now you got small particles, large particles, you got apo A, OA, apo B, and it's all weeks.

What do I mean by that? Well, it's confusion so that you stay. Oh, yeah, well, LDL, okay, maybe we shouldn't lower it so much, but oh, if you've got a pole A or B, well, then you're in trouble and you need to take a statin drug. Guys, it's weeds. It's weeds so that you get confused. And I had someone on here last week saying to the group, well, my doctor said, okay, this was a member of our private Facebook group, said, you're not a doctor. Why are you questioning me? You're not a doctor. You don't get to question me, me, God. Well, they didn't really say that, but they meant it. Guys, look, I just thought we'd do a session because I watched it on the FDA. It actually passed. It passed with some really negative exceptions, but that's all right. It passed. You know what?

Now they're not going to recommend that in the first 24 hours of life that a baby gets a hepatitis B vaccine. Hallelujah. Why didn't they ask me 25 years ago? I would've told you, what is this a crazy, why are you doing that? I want to know why I'm a y guy. Why convince me? I said that for years about cholesterol medication, convince me. I had a cardiologist friend, we had a mutual patient. I said, well, their numbers are great. Why are you giving them a statin drug? He says, if I don't, the college of physicians and surgeons are going to come after me, man. Oh man. It's part of procedure. It's just what we do. And the cancer industry is very similar to that. Your options are limited. You get the diagnosis, and man, they can't get that treatment into you fast enough. They give you days.

It's funny, I always teach you that guys, this and this is a fact. Cancer, to grow to the size of a tip of a ballpoint pen, just a tip, takes five years. And then when they detect it, man, oh man, we got to get going tomorrow. No, let's start today. And the poor patient, they get the diagnosis of cancer. They're given almost no options, and you better decide pronto and the poor people. Now, can you imagine you're not a doctor? Can I think about it? No. We want to know you're going to die unless we give you the treatment. Yeah. Can I look at evidence or anyway, guys, I get frustrated because of the way we operate and it's just the way, so again, I'm just going to give you my modus opera operandi. Here's me. You get information, you become as educated as you can, and I've given you all the honorary degree of a PhD because you're smarter than the average bear. You're smart, and I know it. My audience, and I tell you guys all the time, and it's because you listen, Linda, and you think and you investigate.

I'll tell you one good thing, guys, there's a lot of good things about the internet. There's some things very negative, but I'll tell you the good thing you can read and watch, it's amazing today, the information. Some of it is bs. It's all right. But you guys, I'm trying to educate you guys so that you for yourself, can make educated choices, okay? I just had to get that off my chest. Okay? Do we love you? Do you know we do? How much? Lots. New book. Anybody got it in their hands yet? I haven't got it in my hands yet, but it's out. Okay? And I know that for a fact. In Canada and the United States Rebuilding Your Temple. What a great Christmas gift. It is not too late.

I'm going to tell you, when you get that book in your hands, I'm going to tell you, I'm not going to just toot my horn. I'm going to tell you, you're not going to be disappointed by that book. You're going to love it. It is so good. And that's me advertising. Of course, I would tell you it's good, but it's better than good. Better than good. What a gift it makes. We're excited. Okay, Tony Jr and I, okay, we love you guys dearly sincerely. Got a great week coming up. You got any questions? Send them in info@martinclinic.com, info@martinclinic.com. If you want your question to be handled on Friday, guys, ask me any question you want. I mean it. Don't be shy. Ask questions. Okay? I'm here to answer your questions and you might not like my answers sometimes. That's all right. Nothing but respect for my audience, nothing but respect for them. Love you guys. Talk to you soon.
