Is Your Body's Check Engine Light On?
After analyzing tens of thousands of patient visits over the years…There are TWO truths that I found.
1. A person doesn’t go to bed healthy one night and wake up diseased the next…
  AND…
2. Your body gives you clues as you move from health to disease, and this is a VERY good thing!
Imagine if you got no warnings?  That would be disastrous.  It’s a very good thing that your body gives you clues.
A couple of emails ago I talked about how the Titanic had received warnings all day from other ships that were in the midst of the ice field…
They were told to STAY AWAY.
Our body works like that as well.  It gives us warnings when something isn’t right.
Your body kind of works the same way. Â
Your ‘check engine’ light goes on all the time.  Low energy is a check engine light.  Poor sleep is another.  Digestive issues, skin problems, weight gain, and pain are other types of check engine lights.
When you have these symptoms, your body is telling you that something is wrong.  Most of the time, these check engine lights are not warning you of a disease…
But, left untreated, they could easily become a big problem.
You don’t go from being healthy one minute and diseased the next.  It doesn’t work that way, and that’s a very good thing.
As you move from health towards disease, your body gives clues.
And These clues are your ‘check engine’ light.Â
Modern medicine doesn’t do well with check engine lights.  Their testing is designed to detect diseases, not prevent them.
By the time something shows up in their testing, you’ve already had a problem for a long time.
Here’s a story that I hear everyday in my practice:
You notice a dip in your energy, or you’re not quite feeling like you used to, so you decide to visit your family doctor.  Your doctor orders some routine tests and your results come back ‘normal’.  She tells you that everything is ‘fine’.
This can be frustrating, but it’s very common.  Most people with low energy or who don’t feel well have normal blood test results.
How can a blood test be normal when a person isn’t feeling normal?Â
This is one reasons why I developed my Biomarker Testing System.
When someone with low energy gets their biomarker tested, something always shows up.  It may be their inflammation status, Nitric oxide levels, Free Radical Status, Cortisol or any one of the other biomarkers we check.
The advantage of having your biomarkers tested is that once a problem is detected, it can be specifically addressed.
If you’re suffering with:
- Low energy
- Hormonal imbalances
- Sleeping problems
- Digestive issues
- Memory problems
- Joint or muscle pain
- Skin issues
Then your check engine light is on, your body is giving you clues.Â
