How To Eat For Heart Health

So what I can I take or eat to be heart healthy? I see, Lucy that's a great question. Which reminds me we're going to do a presentation specifically on heart health but here's the thing.
The number one issue when it comes to heart health is insulin. Not even close. High blood pressure is a symptom of high circulating insulin. Heart disease is an effect of high circulating insulin for a lot of people.
If you want to protect your heart you got to get your insulin down.Â
So that's food, right?

When it comes to nutrients there are definite things. Novotel, tremendous. Curcumin awesome for the heart. Awesome for inflammation. Here's the funny thing that has plagued doctors for a long time because you got to remember they doctors they can't talk five minutes without talking about cholesterol.
Cholesterol's the worst thing that ever was happened to anybody in the history of the planet. They talk about cholesterol until half the people, more than that that have a heart attack have normal cholesterol.

80% have a heart attach have normal cholesterol levels.
What's going on? 100% of people that have a heart attack have inflammation. Now what causes the inflammation is the kicker but anything that lowers inflammation naturally is a good thing for your heart which is why curcumin is so good.
DHA or omega-3 so good. Pine bark extract so good. There are a lot of aspects but those are the definite, which is I'm glad you brought up Lucy that's on our list of things to do.
And Lucy listen, if you get your insulin down by cutting your carbs down and your sugars, one of the greatest things that you will see happen and it happens very quickly is you will get your triglyceride levels down.
And triglycerides, every time you get your cholesterol checked, your doctor will talk to you about cholesterol but what they don't talk to you about is the importance especially in women of triglycerides.
And women need to have high cholesterol, listen to what I'm going to say, women need to have high cholesterol and low triglycerides.Â
It's actually a good thing if you've got high cholesterol 'cause it's good for you. You need that.
