Here's What's Really Going On With Your Hormones...

The metabolic storm ... and this is important to understand that, also affects each woman differently. Some will have hair problems. Some will have headaches. Others may have anxiety, while some may even have adult acne. The point is there are a lot of ways that the metabolic storm shows up in woman. That's the first thing you have to understand.Â
But a common issue in women in the metabolic storm is weight. The metabolic storm and ... before we even go on, really ... one of the [00:00:30] things that we hear a lot about women and the metabolic storm, we call it regardless weight gain, meaning they gain weight regardless of what they do. It doesn't matter what they do, they're gaining weight.Â
Speaker 2: Yeah, they're at the gym, even if they don't feel good. They're doing the gym. They're eating well. They're eating clean. They're trying to cut back on their calories and blah, blah, blah, and they're still gaining weight. I always say to patients, "Are you looking at food and gaining weight?" And they nod [00:01:00] their head. I said, "Well, you're in the metabolic storm."Â
Speaker 1: And we'll talk about a case study coming up in a little bit of a woman. It will resonate with a lot of you on this training here. Here, the metabolic storm is a problem with not one hormone. As we mentioned, it's not a problem with just one hormone, but actually three hormone-producing organs. All three of these organs are to blame, and this is why it can get frustrating.Â
Here we have the base [00:01:30] of the metabolic storm. In our course, we call this the unholy trinity of hormones. You have the thyroid's involved. You have the adrenals are involved and the ovaries are involved. When you are in the metabolic storm, those three hormone-producing organs are an issue. And then we'll have some woman say, "Well, I don't have my ovaries anymore." Well, that makes it even more of an issue.Â
Speaker 2: Or I've had a hysterectomy and I still [00:02:00] have my ovaries, but yeah, there is a reason they even had to have a hysterectomy and we'll go over that.
Speaker 1: That's kind of the foundation of a little bit of what's going on behind the scenes of that. This is why you just can't treat the thyroid or you just can't treat the adrenals or you just can't treat the ovaries. The problem is much more complex than that. And even though the problem is complex, it can be fixed.Â
Speaker 2: [00:02:30] Absolutely.Â
Speaker 1: And this is something that we want to stress, that even though the metabolic storm is a complicated deep issue going on, it is very fixable. It can be fixed, and we see this fixed all the time in our clinic.Â
For example, I'm just going to show you a couple of people that have posted in our private Facebook group for women who are in our program, Fix Your Metabolic Storm program. For example, here's somebody here, very excited my first weigh in, and in two weeks down 12 pounds. Now you got to remember, [00:03:00] these are women who couldn't lose weight for the life of them. These women, they couldn't lose weight. They had regardless weight gain.Â
Here's somebody, for example, my first weigh in, in two weeks lost 12 pounds. Here's another progress report here from somebody. "I've been on this healing journey for seven weeks. I've lost six pounds, half to one size. My stomach is shrinking noticeably. Mood swings are greatly reduced. Nausea is decreasing and headaches are lessening. These are the most obvious changes so far." And here's another one. [00:03:30] Just telling us how much this program's working for her.
She has more energy. She's sleeping much better, and she's down 10 pounds. And this is another one. This is one that just came up again recently, and we are so excited for this person. We've known this person since the start of the program. In 11 weeks, this person's lost 30 pounds. That's incredible. Again, could not lose weight for the life of her before because of the metabolic storm that was going on inside of her.Â
